If this post seems a little off-topic then I'm sorry. I just need to acknowledge that my fellow student Dirk is in part to blame for my recent going live with this blog. I've been wanting to start a blog for a long time which ultimately lead me to write my own blogging software, but if it hadn't been for Dirk, I probably would not have done it for another couple of months. So thanks Dirk! I appreciate your support.
And in other news: I listened to the song "Waltz" by Scottish composer Craig Armstrong today which features German singer Antje Greie-Fuchs reading pieces of an HTML document. While listening to it, I realized that the HTML code she reads isn't standards compliant and that was when it occured to me that I might be a geek.
